Food Choices:

Fresh Veggies:

  • Avocado
  • Brussels sprouts
  • Broccoli
  • Green beans
  • Tomatoes
  • Celery
  • Olives
  • Mushrooms
  • Asparagus
  • Spinach instead of Lettuce
  • (Protein & nutrients over just water that is in Lettuce) 
  • Kale 
  • Green Peas

Nut Choices: Just a hand full at a time

  • Almonds
  • Pecans 
  • Pistachios(Non-Salt)
  • Peanuts( Non-Salt)
  • Walnuts
  • Sunflower seeds
  • Cashews

Fruit Choices: these fruits are high in Anti-Oxidants

  1. Helps with belly fat
  2. Full of natural sugars
  • Cherries
  • Black Berries
  • Strawberry
  • Plums
  • Kiwi
  • Oranges: Navel, Tangerines etc.
  • Grapefruits
  • Apples: Granny Smith
  • Mango
  • Banana
  • Grapes

Other Food or Snack Choices:

  • Whole grains: Oatmeal, Oats
  • Legumes
  • Beans: pinto, black, Lima 
  • Peanut Butter in portions
  • Salads: Use oily dressings
  • Yogurts: Greek plain & add fruits & seeds
  • Flax Seeds
  • Chai Seeds

*Important*

  • Still eat 3 Times a day (Do not eat just because you're hungry)
  • Portion size fruits & Salads & Dinner
  • Drink Plenty of water: half your body weight 
  • Drink Gatorade or Cinnamon for light headed( If needed)
  • Take your medications as you eat fruits & Salads 
  • Get plenty of Sleep
  • Plenty of Walking or exercising for at 30-45 minutes
